The Platte County Democrats turned out on Sunday, August 10th, to march in the Columbus Days Parade. Jay Stoddard, our Democratic candidate for Congress from the 3rd CD, was on hand with his lovely wife, Dorothy.The local Democrats carried their banner and sported buttons, stickers and placards for Stoddard, Kleeb and Obama as they distributed candy to the hundreds of children along the route. Jay and Dorothy sat on the back of Jay's classic 1983 Buick Riviera, waving to the crowd. Brian Osborn, 3rd CD Associate Chair, was at the wheel.
It was a great time for all. The weather was perfect, and the refreshments at 'Signatures', following the parade, were good and cold.
